WHAT IS ENERGY BCAA?

ENERGY BCAA is a premium intraworkout support supplement that is ideal for anyone from elite athletes to casual gym-goers and fitness enthusiasts. When combined with proper diet and exercise, ENERGY BCAA contains scientifically proven ingredients that help:

  • Increase energy and stamina
  • Enhance muscle protein synthesis and reduce muscle protein breakdown
  • Promote recovery from exercise
  • Boost nitric oxide levels (and thus, blood flow)
  • Reduce fatigue, allowing you to train harder and longer

ENERGY BCAA is manufactured in the EU in a cGMP facility using no artificial colors and no aspartame. ENERGY BCAA mixes easily in water and tastes delicious, coming in Cherry and Green Apple flavors. You’ll look forward to drinking it before/during/after your workouts!

Benefits of ENERGY BCAA

ENERGY BCAA contains clinically-researched ingredients in efficacious doses that have been shown to enhance recovery, increase stamina, and ramp up your workout performance:

●2:1:1 Branched-Chain Amino Acids: 7200 mg per serving
BCAAs is the acronym used to collectively refer to L-leucine, L-isoleucine, and L-valine, three essential amino acids that have a characteristic branch in their chemical structure. These amino acids are much like the “ignition switch” that help activate muscle protein synthesis, as well as blunt muscle tissue breakdown.1 In turn, consuming BCAAs is one of the most effective and rapid ways to give your muscle the substrates it needs to grow and repair.

●L-Glutamine: 1000 mg per serving
L-glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid that is typically depleted during exercise and instances of illness.2 When L-glutamine levels are lacking, the immune system and gut can be compromised significantly, leading to debilitating symptoms such as lethargy, inability to recover, and malabsorption. As such, it’s crucial for active individuals to supplement with L-glutamine, particularly before/during/after strenuous exercise.

●Beta-alanine: 610 mg per serving
Beta-alanine is a beta amino acid and a key component of the dipeptide carnosine - a molecule comprised of beta-alanine and histidine. Beta-alanine is not typically found in the diet like its counterpart alpha-alanine, and carnosine synthesis is limited by the availability of beta-alanine. Hence, supplementing with beta-alanine helps increase muscular concentrations of carnosine, which subsequently reduces fatigue and enhances stamina.3

●L-Citrulline Malate: 350 mg per serving
L-citrulline is an alpha amino acid found naturally in watermelon and as part of the urea cycle in the liver. It increases intracellular nitric oxide (NO) production which is a positive regulator of vasodilation and blood flow. When you consume L-citrulline malate, your vascular system works more efficiently to deliver the necessary nutrients and oxygen to skeletal muscle tissue, thereby supporting athletic performance and recovery during exercise. L-citrulline has also been shown to enhance the utilization of essential amino acids (BCAAs) during exercise, allowing you to train harder and longer.4

●L-Tyrosine 280 mg per serving
L-tyrosine is an essential amino acid that serves as a precursor to levodopa - the molecule that the body uses to produce dopamine. By supplementing with free-form L-tyrosine, you give your body the necessary substrate to synthesize a healthy amount of dopamine, which is well-known to promote motivation and improve mood.5 This makes ENERGY BCAA ideal for before and during your workouts as it will keep your drive and focus high.

●L-Tryptophan: 200 mg per serving

L-tryptophan is an essential amino acid found in many foods, especially poultry and other animal meats. L-tryptophan produces a variety of nootropic benefits since it is the amino acid precursor of serotonin - the “feel good” neurotransmitter. The most notable benefits of L-tryptophan supplementation include enhanced mood, support for weight loss, and better stress response..6
Moreover, since L-tryptophan is an essential proteinogenic amino acid, it plays a key role in muscle protein synthesis, in conjunction with BCAAs.

What Makes HS Labs ENERGY BCAA special?

The vast majority of “energy” BCAA supplements on the market are just a mix of BCAAs with caffeine, which doesn’t really give you the right kind of energy. We wanted to create a BCAA formula that was free from stimulants like caffeine so you can use pretty much any time of the day for supporting recovery and muscle protein synthesis.
In fact, ENERGY BCAA features over 10 grams of active ingredients per serving, including a sizeable 7,200 mg of 2:1:1 BCAAs. Many BCAA supplements on the market include less than 3000 mg of total BCAAs, meaning you have to use several servings to notice much benefit. Don’t be fooled by BCAA supplements with ineffective doses of active ingredients.
